Psaras Beach is located in the tiny seaside settlement of Psaras, on the east coast of southern Corfu. The small beach is situated in a quiet environment and is lesser-known, making it a bit of a hidden gem that doesn’t get too crowded.
How To Get To Psaras Beach
Psaras Beach can be reached on foot, or with a private vehicle, like a rental car, scooter, or boat.
The beach is right in front of the village and can easily be reached on foot. From Mesongi, it’s about a 1-kilometer walk.
By car, Psaras Beach is a 22-kilometer drive from Corfu Town and 20 kilometers from the Port of Lefkimmi. There’s free parking at the beach.
Unfortunately, there is no public transport to Psaras Beach. The nearest bus stop is in Mesongi, which is connected to Corfu Town and other destinations by several Green Bus lines.
Beach Description
Psaras Beach is situated in a small bay and is oriented towards the northern direction. It looks out on the coastline of Mesongi and Moraitika to the east, and to the mainland of Greece to the northwest.
The beach is only small with a length of approximately 40 meters and an average width of less than 5 meters. The beach and seabed are pebbled and the seabed has a gentle slope. For the first few meters, the bathing water has a normal depth. The water is very clear and relatively calm, making it perfect for swimming.
The coastline around Psaras Beach has some developments in front of the settlement of Psaras, but the surroundings are mostly green. The beach is a quiet alternative for the more popular beaches in the nearby villages of Mesongi and Moraitika.

Psaras Beach is organized and has some facilities including sunbeds and umbrellas for rent, and a beach taverna.
