Loggas Beach is situated on the northeastern coast of Corfu, near the village of Peroulades. The beach is a hidden treasure below the limestone cliffs of the coastline and with its eastward orientation, it is a popular sunset spot.
How To Get To Loggas Beach
Loggas Beach is located just a few hundred meters outside the village of Peroulades and can be reached by foot, with a private vehicle, like a rental car, or scooter, or by public transport.
By car, Loggas Beach is a 4-kilometer drive from Sidari and 40 kilometers from Corfu Town. A free parking area is available at the beach.
The nearest bus stop is 600 meters away at the Church of Agios Nikolaos in Peroulades and serves Green Bus line A1 between Corfu Town and Agios Stefanos Avliotes.
Beach Description
Loggas Beach is oriented towards the northeastern direction, which makes it ideal for watching the sunset, either from the beach or from the taverna on top of the cliffs. On the horizon, you can see the Diapontian Islands.
The beach is situated at the bottom of the limestone cliffs, which gives it a hidden and remote character. A zigzagging path and some stairs lead from the top of the cliff down to the beach.
Loggas Beach is sandy, with some limestones and pebbles. The seabed has a gentle slope so the bathing water remains shallow for the first few meters. During the morning and early afternoon, the cliff provides shadow on parts of the beach, until the sun moves around the corner.
Facilities At Loggas Beach
Loggas Beach is unorganized and has no facilities like sunbeds or umbrellas, but there is a taverna overlooking the beach to get food and drinks. The restaurant, called 7th Heaven, even has a glass skywalk for an even more spectacular view.
About 450 meters further, in the village of Peroulades, there’s also a small market to get drinks and snacks for the beach.
