Agni Beach is a quiet and secluded beach in a small bay in front of the village of Kavallerena on the east coast of northern Corfu. It is one of the many small beaches between the hills on the coastline between Nissaki and Kalami, at the bottom of Mount Pantokrator. The beach has a relaxing atmosphere due to its pristine and green environment.
How To Get To Agni Beach
Agni Beach is located off Road 2217 Tzavrou-Kassiopi-Sidari in the center of Nissaki and can be easily reached with your own transportation like a rental car or scooter, or by public transport.
From Corfu Town, it’s a 26-kilometer drive to Agni Beach. From the main road, a long and narrow road winds down to the beach. Private parking is available at the beach tavernas.
To get to Agni Beach by public transport, you can take Green Bus line A4 or A12 which both stop on the main road in Nissaki, from where it’s a 1.6-kilometer walk to the beach.
Beach Description
Agni Beach is secluded in a bay between high hills and is oriented towards the southeast. The beach has a length of about 140 meters and an average width of 5 meters. The beach and seabed are covered with pebbles and the seabed has a gentle slope. For the first few meters the bathing water has a normal depth.
Facilities At Agni Beach
Agni Beach is organized and has several facilities including sunbeds and umbrellas for rent, a few beach bars and restaurants, showers, and toilets. There are also a few jetties where you can rent a motor boat.
