How To Get To Potamos
Potamos is located in central Corfu, just east of the center of Corfu Town. It can be reached by car, bus, or private transfer.
By car, the historic center of Potamos is a 4-kilometer drive from the center of Corfu Town. From Corfu Airport it’s a 6-kilometer drive and from Corfu Port, it’s 3.5 kilometers. Street parking is free in Potamos but make sure not to block the traffic in the narrow streets of the village.
For the ultimate freedom and convenience to explore the island at your own pace, you can rent a car and pick it up upon arrival at Corfu Airport or Corfu Port, then drive to Potamos yourself. You can search and book rental cars on our website here.
It’s very easy to get to Potamos by bus. Corfu City Bus line 4 (to Temploni) stops near Alykes Potamos Beach and runs through the historic village, and line 7 runs along the coast via National Road 24. Alternatively, you can take any of the northbound Green Buses (bus numbers starting with an A) which also run along the coast via National Road 24. These buses depart from the Green Bus Terminal in Corfu Town. More information about the Green Buses can be found here.
