How To Get To Vrachli Beach
Due to its remote location in the nature reserve of Erimitis, there is no road access to Vrachli Beach. The only way to reach it is by boat or on foot.
To get to Vrachli Beach overland, you need to follow a hiking trail through the forest of Erimitis. The trail connects several beaches in the area with Avlaki in the north and Agios Stefanos Sinion in the south. The shortest route from the main road to Vrachli Beach is the trail that starts at Avlaki Beach.
Beach Description
Vrachli Beach is situated in a bay on a peninsula on the northern edge of Erimitis. The beach is oriented towards the northeast and looks out directly at the Albanian city of Saranda.
Vrachli Beach stretches out over a length of approximately 300 meters and has an average width between 5 and 10 meters. The beach is pebbled and the seabed has a gentle slope, so for the first few meters, the bathing water is shallow.
A small rocky peninsula on the eastern end secludes the beach from another small beach called Vouvalomantria Beach. The rock is marked with a small lighttower. The scenery at Vrachli is really stunning with beautiful turqoise water and a lush green environment. It’s probably no surprice that this beach is a popular stop during boat trips.
Facilities At Vrachli Beach
Vrachli Beach is unorganized and has no facilities, so you’ll have to bring your own supplies. The closest place to get any drinks or food is at Avlaki Beach.
