Tzoufaka Beach is one of the hidden virgin beaches in Erimitis, an area of unparalleled natural beauty with green hills, wetlands, and secluded bays on the east coast of northern Corfu.
How To Get To Tzoufaka Beach
Due to its remote location in the nature reserve of Erimitis, there is no road access to Tzoufaka Beach. Currently, the only way to reach it is by boat.
Although there are hiking trails to other beaches in the area, the trail to Tzoufaka Beach that is shown on some maps is completely overgrown and therefore inaccessible the last time we were there.
Beach Description
Tzoufaka Beach is situated in a small secluded bay and is oriented towards the northeast. The beach has a length of approximately 100 meters and an average width of less than 5 meters. The beach and seabed are pebbled and have a gentle slope. For the first few meters, the bathing water is shallow.
The beach and its environment are really stunning and because of the remote location that is only accessible by boat, you’re probably all by yourself. The water is crystal clear and the beach is surrounded by lush green hills.
Facilities At Tzoufaka Beach
Arias Beach is unorganized and has no facilities, so you’ll have to bring your own supplies. Please leave the beach unspoiled by taking all your rubbish with you.
