Syki Beach is a small, unspoiled beach situated in a bay about 3 kilometers west of Kassiopi, in the northeast of Corfu.
How To Get To Syki Beach
Syki Beach is directly located next to Road 2217 Tzavrou-Kassiopi-Sidari, about 3 kilometers west of Kassiopi, and can be reached with a private vehicle, like a rental car, scooter, or boat, or by public transport.
From Corfu Town, it’s a 37-kilometer drive to Syki Beach, which takes just over an hour. There’s an area where you can park for free next to the road. There’s a path from there that leads down to the beach.
The only public transport to Syki Beach is the Green Bus line S5 between Sidari and Kassiopi, which only runs during the summer season.
Beach Description
Syki Beach has the characteristics of a true hidden gem as the beach is located in a remote area, tucked away in a beautiful bay below the road, and is not as busy as other beaches in the region. Clear blue water, green vegetation, and a view of the rough Albanian coastline on the horizon complete the picturesque scenery.
Syki Beach is oriented towards the north-northeast and has a length of approximately 50 meters and an average width of 5 meters. The beach is pebbled and the seabed has a relatively steep slope, so the bathing water quickly gets deep within a few meters.
Facilities At Syki Beach
Syki Beach is organized and has several facilities, including sunbeds and umbrellas for rent and trash bins. The restaurant across the road operates the beach and serves food and drinks.
