Beach Description
Prasoudi Beach consists of two parts which are separated by some rocks. The most popular part is the sandy beach situated in a small secluded bay. This part has a length of 100 meters and an average width of around 10 meters. It’s orientation is towards the southwestern direction.
Behind the rocks on northern side, the beach continues as a longer narrow strip along a lenghty bay. It’s orientation varies between the western and southwestern directions. This largely-unknown part has a length of approximately 400 meters and an average width of 5 meters. This part of the beach is also sandy, but has more stones and larger rocks.
The seabed at Prasoudi Beach has a gentle slope and for the first few meters, the bathing water has a normal depth. The water is perfect for swimming as it is relatively calm and very clear.
The beach is situated among a beautiful natural scenery with turquoise waters, lots of green vegetation, and a mountainous landscape. Apart from a few buildings, the coastline is mostly undeveloped and therefore a great place to relax in nature.
To the south, there is another unspoiled beach called Kanouli.
Facilities At Prasoudi Beach
Only the southern part of Prasoudi Beach is developed and has several facilities, including sunbeds and umbrellas for rent, showers, toilets, trash bins, and two tavernas.
