The Pagoi Waterfall is situated above a beautiful gorge of the Kakoplagi Hill, just outside the village of Pagoi in northern Corfu. The water flows through a hole in a giant rock called Ortholithos, creating a spectacular scene between the dense vegetation of the hill. At the bottom of the waterfall, the stream flows underneath a historic stone bridge and continues its way down the gorge.
In recent years, it’s been very rare to see any water flowing from the waterfall in summer, due to drought, but you can still admire the old bridge and the beautiful environment if you make a quick stop here on your way to the village. The waterfall is usually active during the rainy winter season.
