Beach Description
Being one of the virgin beaches surrounded by the green landscapes of Erimitis, Korfovounia Beach is a real paradise with a deserted island feeling. The beach stretches around a bay for about 100 meters with an average width of about 5 meters.
The beach is oriented towards the north and northeast and consists of sand, pebbles, and stones. The seabed has a very gentle slope so for the first few meters the bathing water is very shallow.
Facilities At Korfovounia Beach
Korfovounia Beach is unorganized and has no facilities, so you’ll have to bring your own supplies. You really can’t get any food or drinks nearby so make sure to bring plenty of water, especially if you embark on a hike through Erimitis.
