The Church of the High Virgin and Saint John the Merciful is a Greek Orthodox church in the Jewish quarter of Corfu Town.
The church was constructed in 1730, and in 1790, it came into the hands of the winemakers and wine merchants guild, which sponsored the church financially.
One of the relics kept inside the church is a gold-plated gospel from 1827, made by Nikolaos Papageorgiou. The church is dedicated to Saint John the Merciful, the Patriarch of Alexandria between 606 and 616, who is celebrated on November 12th.
