Arillas Beach is a long sand beach in the village of Arillas, on the east coast of northern Corfu. The beach is situated in the center part of a large bay that stretches between Cape Kefali and the Porto Timoni peninsula.
The beach is a relatively quiet alternative to other more crowded beaches and is popular among families with kids.
How To Get To Arillas Beach
Arillas Beach is located in Arillas Agiou Georgiou, the lower part of the village, and can be reached by foot, with a private vehicle, like a rental car, scooter, or boat, or by public transport.
By car, Arillas Beach is only a 2.5-kilometer drive from Agios Stefanos Avliotes and 5 kilometers from Agios Georgios. From Corfu Town, it’s a 35-kilometer drive, which takes about 50 minutes. Free parking is available at the beach.
To get to Arillas Beach by public transport, you can take Green Bus line A6 which connects the Arillas via Sidari with Corfu Town. The bus stop is on Road 2232 Magoulades-Arillas-Afionas, a 230-meter walk from the pier.
Beach Description
Arillas Beach is situated in a large bay and is oriented towards the southwestern direction, which is great for watching the sunset.
The beach has a length of approximately 1.1 kilometer and a width the varies between 5 and 20 meters. The beach and seabed are sandy and the seabed has a gentle slope. For the first few meters, the bathing water is shallow. Apart from the developments of the village, the beach is surrounded by a scenery of green hills and to the northwest the beach looks out at the cliffs of Cape Kefali.
The beach has a quiet atmosphere and a tranquil vibe, but still has the amenities of a beach resort.

Arillas Beach is organized and has many facilities, including sunbeds and umbrellas for rent, showers, and trash bins. There are also several bars and restaurants.
