Antipsos Beach, not to be confused with Antipsos Beach in Liapades, is a small unspoiled beach on the rugged coast near the seaside village of Ermones, on the west coast of central Corfu. The beach is secluded by steep rocky hills, making the beach only accessible by boat.
How To Get To Antipsos Ermones Beach
Antipsos Ermones Beach is situated in the corner of a small bay, about 600 meters northwest of Ermones. The only way to get there is by boat.
The easiest way to get there is via Ermones, where you can hop on a taxi boat that can bring you to Antipsos Beach and pick you up again at an agreed time.
Another fun way is to rent a boat or go on an organized boat tour to discover the environment and visit multiple beaches, coves, and sea caves on a single trip.
Beach Description
Antipsos Beach is a small virgin beach secluded in a bay and is oriented towards the southern and southwestern directions. The entire coastline surrounding the beach is natural and undeveloped. The coastline has a rugged character with rocky hills, and steep cliffs, and is partly covered by green vegetation.
The beach is has a length of about 70 meters and an average width of about 10 meters. The beach and seabed have a combination of sand, pebbles, and rocks.
The seabed has a somewhat steep slope so the bathing water gets deep fairly quick. The water is crystal clear and beautifully turquoise making it perfect for swimming.
Antipsos Beach is a lesser known beach and usually quiet, so it’s perfect for escaping other more crowded beaches and to reconnect with nature.
Facilities At Antipsos Ermones Beach
Antipsos Beach is unorganized and has no facilities at all, so you’ll have to bring your own drinks, snacks, and other supplies if you take a boat trip there.
