Mon Repos Beach is a privately operated beach in the southern part of Corfu Town. The beach is named after the Mon Repos estate but is also known as the Royal Baths since it used to be a leisure area for the royal family living at Mon Repos.
How To Get To Mon Repos Beach
Mon Repos Beach is located between the public Paleopolis Beach and the Mon Repos estate, at the start of the Kanoni peninsula to the south of Corfu Town. From the old town, it can be reached by a 20-minute walk along the Garitsa Bay. Corfu City Bus line 2A stops right in front of the entrance gate on Emmanouil Theotoki Street. Be aware that this is the only entrance to the beach, so you can’t access it via the entrance of the Mon Repos estate.

The beach itself is sandy, with a width of several meters and a length of about 150 meters. Due to its location next to the forest of Mon Repos, the beach has a lush green environment, which is great for a relaxing day away from the busy streets of the town.

Mon Repos Beach is privately operated by the Royal Baths Restaurant located at the beach, which means you can get food and other refreshments during your day at the beach. There are also sunbeds with umbrellas for rent and other facilities including showers and toilets. There is also a pier from where you can jump right into the water.
