NAOK Beach is a small beach at the NAOK Marina in Garitsa Bay in Corfu Town. The beach is named after the Corfu Nautical Club (Naftikos Omilos Kerkyras), which is located here.
How To Get To NAOK Beach
NAOK Beach is located on the northern side of Garitsa Bay, just south of Spianada Square, so the beach is easily reached by foot from the old town. Several of the Corfu City Buses stop nearby at Akadimias Street and Spianada Square.
Beach Description
NAOK Beach is sandy with some pebbles and concrete slabs. The beach has a width of up to 5 meters and a length of 160 meters, with a gentle slope. The water is clear and suitable for swimming, but slight pollution can occur from the fuel leaks of boats moored at the marina. The beach offers stunning views of the nearby Old Fortress.
Facilities At NAOK Beach
NAOK Beach has several facilities including the NAOK Marina, a bar and restaurant, a beach volleyball pitch, and outdoor showers. It also houses the Corfu Nautical Club.
