Kanoni Beach (not to be confused with Kanoni Beach in Kassiopi) is located on the eastern shore of the Kanoni peninsula of Corfu Town, at the mouth of the Halikiopoulou Lagoon into the Ionian Sea.
How To Get To Kanoni Beach
Kanoni Beach can be easily reached by foot, car, or public transport. There is a large parking lot at the Kanoni Marina which is located right next to the beach. There is also a staircase to get down from the Kanoni viewpoint next to the main through-road. There are a few parking spaces as well, and Corfu City Bus line 2A stops there as well.
You can also get to Kanoni Beach by crossing the footbridge from Perama to Kanoni. Bus line 6 stops on the main road in Perama.
Beach Description
Kanoni Beach is located at the bottom of a forested hill and away from the road so it has a pleasant and quiet, green surrounding. The beach itself has a length of around 100 meters and an average width of about 10 meters. The beach and the sea bed are sandy and have a gentle slope so the water is relatively shallow for the first few meters. There is also a jetty for small boats.
Facilities At Kanoni Beach
Kanoni Beach is organized and has sunbeds and umbrellas for rent, showers, and bins. There is also a bar and restaurant.
