Corfu Beer is the first craft beer brewery established in Corfu. The brewery is located in Arillas, on the northwest of the island, where it also has a taproom and a merchandise store.
History Of Corfu Beer
Corfu Beer was founded by Spiros Kaloudis and his son Thanasis in 2006 with the vision to create world-class beers in Corfu. The first beers came out on the market in 2009 and the next year their production already reached 100,000 liters. Corfu Beer has since grown into a well-established beer brand on the island and beyond. Their beers have become a staple in the Corfiote hospitality industry and can be found on restaurant menus and in shops across the entire island.
Among their most established products are the Lager, Ionian Pilsner, Red Ale, Amorosa Weiss, IPA, and Dark Ale. They also have a non-alcoholic beer called Hoppy & Free, and they often experiment with new beer types and flavors to extend their range or to offer limited edition beers.
Corfu Beer also produces a range of low-alcohol and non-alcoholic fizzy drinks under the name Royal Ionian, which include a radler, ginger ales, and other fruit-flavored drinks.
