Beach Description
Alykes Beach stretches out in front of the seaside village of Molos, between the Lefkimmi Marina to its east, and the Molos Beach to its west. The beach is oriented towards the northwestern direction, looking out at the east coast of Corfu.
The beach has a length of approximately 380 meters and a width verying between 5 and 15 meters. The beach and seabed are sandy and the seabed has a gentle slope. For the first few meters, the bathing water remains shallow.
The only potential source of pollution comes from boats moored in the marina, but any pollution is rare and usually short-lived. The water is usually very clear and relatively calm, so it’s great for swimming.
The coast behind the beach is developped with some houses, guest accomodations and tavernas, but there is also some sporadic vegetation.
Facilities At Alykes Beach
Alykes Beach is organized and has several facilities, including sunbeds and umbrellas for rent, showers, trash bins, and a beach taverna selling food and drinks.
