Beach Description
Kaliviotis Beach is situated around the Kaliviotis Harbor in Lefkimmi Bay and is oriented towards the northwestern and northern directions, looking out at the mainland of Greece.
The most popular part is the area surrounding the port, which has several amenities, but the beach continues around the corner in the eastern direction and this part is lesser-known and completely unspoiled.
Kaliviotis Beach has a combination of sand and pebbles. The seabed has a gentle slope and for the first few meters, the bathing water remains shallow. The only potential source of pollution comes from boats mooring in the harbor but pollution is rare and usually short-lived. In general, the water is very clear and calm, making it perfect for swimming.
The area around the beach is mostly undeveloped and has a lot of dense green vegetation. Due to it’s remote location and lack of tourist infrastructure, Kaliviotis Beach is relatively quiet and therefore perfect for families with small children and anyone who enjoys a quiet and peaceful environment.
Facilities At Kaliviotis Beach
Kaliviotis Beach is only organized at the area around the port. There you can find several facilities, including sunbeds and umbrellas for rent, showers, trash bins and a taverna selling food and drinks. The area around the corner to the east is completely unorganized and has no facilities.
