Notos Beach is situated in the tiny seaside village of Notos, on the east coast of southern Corfu. The lesser-known beach is a hidden gem with beautiful turquoise waters and natural green surroundings.
How To Get To Notos Beach
Notos Beach is located in the tiny village of Notos, near Agios Nikolaos and Petriti. It can best be reached with a private vehicle, like a rental car, scooter, or boat.
By car, Notos Beach is a 30-kilometer drive from Corfu Town and 11 kilometers from the Port of Lefkimmi.
There is no public transport to Notos Beach. The nearest bus stops are in Agios Nikolaos and Petriti. Green Bus line B2 connects these villages with Corfu Town.
Beach Description
Notos Beach is oriented towards the western direction and looks out on the mainland of Greece. The beach is situated in a bay and has a length of approximately 70 meters and an average width of 5 meters.
The beach and seabed are pebbled and the seabed has a gentle slope. For the first few meters, the bathing water is relatively shallow. The water is very clear and calm, so it’s perfect for swimming.
Notos Beach is lesser-known and a bit hidden in a quiet area, making it a peaceful retreat to escape the crowds at larger and busier beaches.
Facilities At Notos Beach
Notos Beach is only partly organized. There are two tavernas that have their own sundecks with loungers and umbrellas, showers, and toilets. The public beach itself is unorganized.
