Fieroula Beach, also known as Pentati Beach, is a small secluded beach in the village of Pentati, on the west coast of southern Corfu. The beach is a hidden treasure with natural beauty.
How To Get To Fieroula Beach
Fieroula Beach is situated in a small bay below the village of Pentati and can be reached on foot, with a private vehicle, like a rental car, scooter, or boat, or by public transport.
From the center of Pentati, Fieroula Beach is a 1-kilometer walk or drive. From the main road, a narrow and steep, but paved road leads to the beach. There is no parking at the beach, so you’ll have to park somewhere on the side of the road, or keep your car in the village and take a walk down.
By car, Fieroula Beach is a 3.5-kilometer drive from Agios Gordios and 18 kilometers from Corfu Town.
To get to Fieroula Beach by public transport you can take Green Bus line B9 from Corfu Town to Pentati and walk to the beach from there.
Beach Description
Fieroula Beach is situated in a small secluded bay and is oriented towards the northwestern direction. The beach is covered in shade during a large part of the day.
The beach has a length of approximately 70 meters and an average width of around 5 meters. The beach is sandy with some stones and on each end there are larger rocks.
The seabed has a gentle slope and for the first few meters, the bathing water is relatively shallow. The water is calm and very clear, making it great for swimming.
The bay is surrounded by rocky hills with green vegetation, providing a secluded character and a totally natural environment. The beach is also out of sight from the busy Agios Gordios Beach nearby.
Facilities At Fieroula Beach
Fieroula Beach is unorganized and has no facilities at all, so you’ll need to bring your own drinks, snacks, and other supplies for a beach day. The nearest place to get any food or drinks is in the village.
