Kogevina Beach is a small unorganized beach in Bolana Bay, on the eastern outskirts of Kassiopi, on the northeastern coast of Corfu.
How To Get To Kogevina Beach
Kogevina Beach is located off Road 2217 Tzavrou-Kassiopi-Sidari in the Kogevinas area of Kassiopi. It can best be reached with a private vehicle, like a rental car, scooter, or boat.
It’s about a 2.5-kilometer drive from the center of Kassiopi and 34 kilometers from Corfu Town. The last part of the beach is an unpaved track. Parking at the beach is free, but there is not a lot of space.
There is no public transport to the beach. The nearest bus stop is along Road 2217 Tzavrou-Kassiopi-Sidari and serves Green Bus lines A4 and A12 which both connect Kassiopi with Corfu Town.
Beach Description
Kogevina Beach is oriented towards the northern direction and stretches out over a length of approximately 350 meters with an average width of around 5 meters.
The beach and seabed are covered with pebbles and stones. The seabed has a gentle slope and for the first few meters, the bathing water has a normal depth.
The surroundings of the beach are partly developed with houses but there is also a lot of green vegetation. Being situated far from the center of Kassiopi, the beach has a more quiet character. On the horizon you can see the Albanian city of Saranda with a dramatic mountenous landscape in the background.
Facilities At Kogevina Beach
Kogevina Beach is unorganized and has no facilities like sunbeds or restaurants, so you’ll have to bring your own supplies for a beach day.
