Avlaki East Beach is a small, unspoiled hidden beach near Avlaki Beach in Erimitis, an area of unparalleled natural beauty with green hills, wetlands, and secluded bays in the northeast of Corfu.
How To Get To Avlaki East Beach
Due to its remote location in the nature reserve of Erimitis, there is no road access to Avlaki East Beach, the only way to reach it is by boat or on foot.
However, the beach is only a short walk away from Avlaki Beach, which is accessible by road and has ample parking. From Corfu Town, that’s a 34-kilometer drive, but Kassiopi is only 2 kilometers away.
There is no viable public transportation option to get there. The nearest bus stop is in Kassiopi and serves Green Bus lines A4 and A12 which both connect the town with Corfu Town.
Beach Description
Avlaki East Beach is a hidden gem that is tucked away in the eastern corner of Boyana Bay and is completely unspoiled. The beach is surrounded by the natural beauty and green vegetation of Erimitis, giving it a paradisial atmosphere.
Avlaki Beach is oriented towards the west and has a length of approximately 80 meters and an average width of around 5 meters. The beach consists of sand and pebbles and the sea bed has a gentle slope. For the first few meters, the bathing water is shallow.
Facilities At Avlaki East Beach
Avlaki East Beach is unorganized and has no facilties, so you’ll need to bring your own supplies for a beach day. However, several tavernas and other facilities can be found at the nearby Avlaki Beach.
