The Anemomylos Marina is located on the southern end of Garitsa Bay in Corfu Town and is characterized by an important landmark of the area: the Anemomylos Windmill.
The marina has an 80-meter-long jetty protecting boats from strong waves and offers mooring possibilities for small to medium-sized vessels. The end of the jetty is marked with a small lighthouse.
The Anemomylos Marina is also a popular leisure spot due to its beautiful location overlooking the Garitsa Bay and the Old Fortress. There are two restaurants with seating right at the waterfront, and there are several more restaurants located at the park across the road. The Anemomylos Restaurant also offers sunbeds and umbrellas for rent.
Although there is no real beach, the Anemomylos Marina is a popular swimming spot among the locals. next to the windmill, there are several metal stairs to help you get in and out of the water, and there’s a kiosk where you can buy some refreshments. Alternatively, you can also put your towel down and go for a swim at the adjacent Paleopolis Beach or Mon Repos Beach.
