Tramoudana Beach is situated in a bay on the uninhabited island of Vido, near the coast of central Corfu. It is one of only two beaches on the island, with the other being Maistros Beach.
How To Get To Tramoudana Beach
Tramoudana Beach can only be reached by foot or boat since there are no roads on Vido. There are regular ferries between the Old Port in Corfu Town and the harbor of Vido, which is located in the south of the island. From there, it’s an 800-meter walk to Tramoudana Beach.
Beach Description
Tramoudana Beach is situated in a bay which gives the beach a secluded character. The beach is oriented towards the northwestern direction and gets some shade during the morning and early afternoon from the forest behind the beach.
The beach has a length of approximately 140 meters and an average width of around 15 meters. The beach and seabed are sandy with some fine pebbles.
The beach bed has a gentle slope and for the first few meters, the bathing water has a normal depth. The water is very calm and crystal clear, providing ideal conditions for swimming.
The coastline at Tramoudana Beach is completely natural and the surrounding area is undeveloped and free from any constructions. The beach is surrounded by dense and tall vegetation, creating a natural atmosphere for relaxing, sunbathing and swimming.
Facilities At Tremoudana Beach
Tramoudana Beach is completely unorganized so there are no facilities at all. You’ll need to bring your own drinks, snacks, and other supplies for the beach.
