The Roman Baths of Moraitika is an archaeological site in the seaside village of Moraitika, on the east coast of southern Corfu. The ruins are located slightly south of the center of the village, next to the main road.
Nowadays, the historic bathing house is mostly in ruins, but you can still see the upper parts of the building, which dates back to the Roman times. The archaeological site has been excavated and researched in 1988. The facility has a square room with well-preserved walls and a semi-circular tank.
The Roman Baths of Moraitika are free to visit, but there’s a fence around the perimeter to prevent looting of the monument, so you can’t get very close to it.
There are several other places in Corfu where remains of Roman structures can be found, including the Roman Baths and other buildings of Paleopolis and the Roman Baths of Benitses.
