Antipsos Beach, not to be confused with Antipsos Beach in Ermones, is one of the virgin beaches on the rugged coastline near the village of Liapades, on the west coast of central Corfu. The beach is only accessible by boat as it is completely secluded by rocks and high cliffs.
How To Get To Antipsos Liapades Beach
Antipsos Liapades Beach is located about 3 kilometers south of Liapades. However, the beach is entirely enclosed by the rocky coastline with high cliffs and can therefore only be reached by boat.
On Liapades Beach, and in Paleokastritsa, there are taxi boats that can take you to Antipsos Beach and pick you up a few hours later. Of course, you can also rent a boat, or book a boat trip that includes a stop here.
Beach Description
Antipsos Beach is oriented towards the southwestern direction and has no shade at all during most of the day. The beach has a length of approximately 180 meters and an average width of about 15 meters.
The beach has a combination of sand and pebbles with some rocks on the edges. The seabed has a gentle slope and for the first few meters the bathing water is relatively shallow. The seawater is crystal clear and perfect for swimming and snorkeling.
Antipsos Beach is entirely secluded by the the high cliffs of the hills behind it. The coastline is completely natural without any constructions and with a lot of green vegetation, including olive trees. It’s a great stop during a boat trip and a perfect getaway from the crowded beaches elswhere.
Antipsos Beach is only separated from Mikro Stelari Beach to the north by a small rock formation. You can easily swim around the rocks from one beach to the other.
Facilities At Antipsos Liapades Beach
Antipsos Beach is unorganized and has no facilities, so you’ll need to bring your own drinks, snacks, and other supplies if you make a boat trip there.
