Mikro Stelari Beach is an unspoiled virgin beach secluded in a remote area near the village of Liapades, on the west coast of central Corfu. The beach is separated from Stelari Beach by rocks and high cliffs and can only be reached by boat.
How To Get To Mikro Stelari Beach
Mikro Stelari Beach is situated in a bay about 3 kilometers south of Liapades. However, the beach is entirely enclosed by the rocky coastline with high cliffs and can therefore only be reached by boat.
On Liapades Beach, and in Paleokastritsa, there are taxi boats that can take you to Mikro Stelari Beach and pick you up a few hours later. Of course, you can also rent a boat, or book a boat trip that includes a stop here.
Beach Description
Mikro Stelari Beach is situated on a rugged coastline that is completely natural. The beach is secluded by high cliffs of hills covered with olive trees and other vegetation and looks out on the perfectly turquoise-colored water of the Ionian Sea.
The beach is oriented towards the southwest and therefore it has no shadow at all during most of the day. The beach has a length of approximately 230 meters and a width varying between 5 and 10 meters.
The beach has a combination of sand and pebbles, with some rocks at parts of the beach. The seabed has a gentle slope and for the first few meters, the bathing water is relatively shallow.
Mikro Stelari Beach is a great getaway for nature lovers and couples who seek a romantic picnic trip to a secluded beach. From the southern end of the beach, you can easily swim around the rocks to the neighboring Antipsos Beach.
Facilities At Mikro Stelari Beach
Mikro Stelari Beach is unorganized and has no facilities at all so you’ll have to bring your own drinks, snacks, and other supplies if you take a boat trip here.
